Head of External Works Department (m/f)

We are a Slovenian company with more than 20 years of experience in providing comprehensive services for construction projects. With a team of more than 30 experts, we participate in projects from concept design to execution. We operate both locally and internationally and specialize in industrial facilities.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering / University degree in Civil Engineering

• Licensed Civil Engineer status

• experience in external works and civil engineering design

• experience in leading or coordinating design teams

• strong knowledge of project documentation and applicable legislation

• organizational skills, independence, responsibility, and leadership capabilities

Key responsibilities:

• leading, organizing, and professionally managing the External Works Department

• assigning, coordinating, and monitoring the work of designers within the department

• transferring knowledge and encouraging the professional development of team members

• independent preparation of project documentation in the field of external works and civil engineering

• participating in the development of project solutions, concepts, and professional guidelines related to external works

• leading and coordinating projects throughout all project phases

• coordinating and aligning project teams across different phases, both internally within the company and externally with subcontracted designers

• collaborating with other organizational units during project execution

• monitoring project timelines, budgets, and cost-related aspects

• preparing records, reports, claims, and other project documentation

• monitoring legislation, regulations, and professional guidelines relevant to the field of work
