TECHNICAL DRAFTSPERSON – STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING (m/f)

At Štajerski inženiring d.o.o., we are expanding our team in the field of structural engineering design and are therefore looking for a new colleague to prepare project documentation.

We are an established Slovenian engineering company with more than 20 years of experience in design, construction supervision, consulting engineering and construction project management. We are involved in a wide range of projects in Slovenia and abroad, with a focus on industrial, commercial and other technically demanding buildings.

What will you be doing?

With the support of structural engineers, your work will primarily include:

• creating 3D models of concrete, steel and other building structures,

• preparing structural layout drawings,

• preparing formwork drawings,

• preparing reinforcement drawings,

• preparing sections, details and other technical drawings,

• preparing material and quantity take-offs,

• collaborating with structural engineers, designers from other disciplines and other members of the project team,

• coordinating models and project documentation in a BIM environment.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a technically minded, precise and reliable person who is interested in working with building structures and computer-based 3D models. The position is also suitable for a student with active student status who is interested in long-term cooperation and working alongside their studies.

We expect:

• at least completed secondary education,

• good spatial awareness and understanding of technical drawings,

• precision, a systematic approach and a responsible attitude towards work,

• basic computer literacy,

• willingness to learn and adopt new software tools,

• the ability to work independently and collaborate within a project team.

Education in civil engineering or another technical field is an advantage, but not a requirement. More important are technical thinking, spatial awareness, precision and an interest in working in the field of building structures.

Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD or similar software tools is an advantage, but is not a mandatory requirement. Candidates at the beginning of their career are also welcome and will be gradually introduced to the work.
